Ryan Jennings, President


  • Board Member Since 2012
  • Launched his own personal training studio, XO Fitness, seven years ago with his wife, Karin
  • Hometown: Slinger, Wisconsin
  • Previously involved in: De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce and East De Pere Business Alliance
  • Actively involved in: Bay Nordic Community Ski program that teaches kids ages 3-12 to cross-country ski, hosts middle and high school race teams as well as an adult club. We are currently working to raise $250,000 to light 4 kilometers of cross-country ski trails at the Brown County Reforestation Camp.
  • Passionate about:  I love helping people.  At XO Fitness, I love helping adults succeed with their fitness goals.
  • Favorite thing about De Pere: I love being able to walk from my home right into the downtown.  De Pere has that wonderful small town feeling and it’s great place to raise our family.

Scott Hemauer, Past President

  • Previously Involved In: De Pere Riverwalk Fundraising Committee, Purchased and restored the historic John Smith Triple Store Building at 113 S. Broadway which won the National Park Services’ Historical Preservation Award in 2012
  • Actively Involved In: De Pere Cub Scouts Pack 4143, De Pere Rapides Youth Soccer, De Pere Rec Youth Football, Suzy C. Altmayer School
  • Passionate about: Spending time with his family, enjoying outdoor activities including boating, snowboarding and snowmobiling. Scott also restores vintage snowmobiles and has a vintage race car

  • Favorite thing about De Pere: Biking the Fox River Trail and enjoying the waterfront activities. “There is a lot happening in the community, and more to come!”

  • Actively involved in: Raising two teenagers and running a small business.
  • Passionate about: Love all things art, playing and listening to live music and spending as much time with our kids and family as I can.
  • Favorite thing about De Pere: Great small town feel within a bigger metro area. I grew up here and it’s such a small community that you know about everyone.

Brenda Busch

  • Passionate about: Pursuit of education in all forms; helping friends and family cultivate their inner stylist/interior design skills; organizing and cleaning (I’ve always said my OCD tendencies never hurt anyone, nor has a Swiffer or Windex); staying active so I can actively enjoy good food and dark beers; appreciating and supporting my family.
  • Favorite things about De Pere: Downtown’s historic buildings and homes; the eclectic mix of restaurants, retail shops and small businesses; having the Riverwalk, Voyager Park and Fox River Trail as my backyard!

Bridgett Lowery

  • Owner and Operator of 416 Cuisine in De Pere
  • Degree in Education from Michigan State; Master’s from University of NC at Wilmington. Experiences teaching at elementary and college level and experience in Human Resources.
  • Hometown: Libertyville, IL
  • Actively involved in: Ben’s Wish. 416 has donated a portion of sales or raised money or food since 2012.
  • Passionate about: Trying to ease insecurities in the area, family dinners, getting kids into the kitchen and teaching people to cook. Being an advocate for other business owners helping them to succeed.
  • Favorite things about De Pere: The people! Fellow businesses owners, residents, and customers.

Tina Quigley, Executive Director

  • Previously involved in Arts Wisconsin, served as regional captain for Northeastern Wisconsin; member of downtown Green Bay public art committee; active with Dickinson PTO; member of YOU Magazine advisory board; former executive secretary and board treasurer of Wisconsin Festivals and Events Association; former Board member of Olde Main and Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
  • Passionate about: The arts and working to ensure that they are a vital part of our community.
  • Favorite thing about De Pere: The unique shops, contemporary restaurants, and specialty businesses; quiet neighborhoods with wonderful parks and recreational trails; and great schools.

Heather Kostelnik, Program and Event Coordinator

  • Hometown: Sheboygan, WI
  • Student of UW-Green Bay, Arts Management major
  • Previously involved in: Mosaic Arts Inc., Good Times Programming, Appleton Downtown Inc., Disney College Program
  • Passionate about: creating a vibrant and exciting community in small towns that rivals the big cities. Anything arts related, cooking, traveling to new places and coming home to my two cats and fiancée.
