Crostata is a delicious Italian jam pie; a rustic free form with no top crust. This is a hands on experience. You will learn to make the crust (each student will take home their crust for future use), then the class will work together to make one sweet and one savory crostata. The savory will be artichoke asparagus goat cheese and the sweet will blackberry balsamic. Of course, you will eat your creations! Aprons are provided for your use during the class and students receive printed recipes. You are welcome to bring beer or wine (416 has glasses and openers) Please arrive about 5:45pm, as the class begins at 6:00pm. No refunds will be given for cooking classes.
