Passionate about: Finding communities that are designed in a way that visitors do not need a car, dining at funky, hip new places that are in old renovated buildings, seeing people get excited when they realize something was in their neighborhood that they never realized existed, the preservation and restoration of natural resources, waterways, and wetlands, “planning” to find the balance between the natural and build world.
Favorite thing about De Pere: Downtown De Pere has all the necessary features of a beautiful urban main street that has not yet been perfected. Residential De Pere has very new and very old housing with people that compliment the downtown in very different ways. The business parks are well laid out and nice looking. The city is so easy to get into when traveling from the freeway interstate systems.
