Children (ages 10 and up) will be dropped off and a parent is not required to stay.
Let’s get cooking! Each child will learn a variety of recipes, kitchen safety, how to set a table & basic etiquette, and food safety. Children will also discuss the importance of a balanced diet, and get an individual guided lesson on knife skills!
Hands on cooking will include- beef tacos with homemade seasoning, homemade salsa, lime rice, and chocolate cake with homemade frosting! Children will receive a folder of all the recipes and other reference sheets to keep them and whole family cooking! They will keep the apron they use in class. Naturally, lunch will be enjoyed (after they make it!).
