Mulva Cultural Center Class: Wine & Found Poetry

Poetry doesn’t have to begin with a blank page—sometimes it starts with a full page from a book. Found poetry, also known as blackout poetry, is the process of creating poems by editing and marking out words from recycled book pages. In this class, participants will take the creative process a step further by decorating their poetry on an 8×10 canvas, transforming it into a unique piece of art to take home. Enjoy a glass of wine or your favorite beverage while you craft, with one drink ticket included, and dinner available for purchase.
