Fox River Trail

The Fox River Recreational Trail is a part of the Wisconsin State Parks system, and features 25 miles of beautiful river and scenic views. The De Pere stretch of the trail hugs the shore of the Fox River, offering beautiful views of St. Norbert College, the De Pere historic locks and dam, the De Pere Riverwalk, Voyageur Park, and the historic North Broadway neighborhood.

Hours and Use

The Fox River Recreational Trail is open daily from 5:00 am – 9:00 pm.
Permitted trail uses include:

  • Bicycling
  • Walking andRunning
  • Rollerblading
  • Dog Walking (leashes must be shorter than 5′)

Parking

You can park your car and access the trail from the following De Pere locations:

  • Bomier Street Boat Launch (Public restrooms available)
  • Voyageur Park(Public restrooms available)
  • Fox Point Boat Launch(Public restrooms available)

You can dock your boat for a limited timeframe and access the trail from the following De Pere locations:

  • Voyageur Park(Public restrooms available)
  • James Street Marina

Fees

Bicyclists and rollerbladers can purchase a $5 daily trail pass at various self-service stations along the Fox River Recreational Trail. A $25 annual trail pass can be purchased from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
